A very Merry Christmas to you all and to cheer you on your way, here is our December show.
Odile and I decided to round off the year with another episode discussion, and we have reached “Out of Gas”. To help us we invited fellow podacasters, Boz from the Little Pod of Horrors podcast and Peter from the Shonky Lab podcast – both are fabulous and both worth listening to.
I think this is a great discussion and we both want to thank Boz and Peter for joining us.
We have two promos this show, Little Pod of Horrors and Sofa Dogs.
As always, we hope you will enjoy the show and if you do, you can leave comments here or on our Facebook page or Twitter.
You can find our podcast on itunes, here is a direct link to our page.
If you use iTunes as your podcatcher, please leave us a review.
Of course you can also download the show directly from here!

The wonderful Mikey Mason has another “Firefly” themed song for our collective aural pleasure. Following on from his great, “She Don’t Like Firefly”, Mikey has penned a Christmas song titled, “Please Bring Firefly Back (For Christmas)”. It’s available for download from Mikey’s bandcamp.com page, here

Looks like Odile has some competition with her Nike personalised “Firefly” trainers!
Etsy store, WibblyWobblyGeeks, are theming classic Converse high-tops including the Independents from “Firefly”. If you wish to learn more about their products, please click on the link here to take you to their page.
Not only are they theming “Firefly”, but also “Doctor Who” and “Star Wars”.
Fabulous!

I learned about Saturday’s (22 September) 10th Anniversary shindig hosted by the PDX Browncoats and Things From Another World happening in Portland, um, Sunday … Faster than you can yell, “Summer!!!” TFAW’s Elizabeth Forsythe had not only kindly agreed to speak with me about it but had also rounded up our friend, Anna Snyder, and Kara Helgren from the PDX Browncoats as well. We recorded this on Tuesday night, where I dazzled all with my very thorough knowledge of the exact date when “Firefly” first aired in the US …
Both Odile and myself wish everyone a great time on Saturday and thanks again to Elizabeth, Anna and Kara for being available on Tuesday.
As always, we hope you will enjoy the show and if you do, you can leave comments here or on our Facebook page or Twitter.

This is one of those times when all the superlatives available to me all seem either too twee or just isn’t the right one. Personally, I am completely overwhelmed by the emotion of the whole panel from half way across the planet. It was beyond wonderful to see everyone together again and those who couldn’t attend were keenly missed.
Cliqueclack.com were very near the front and posted the entire panel on their website and due to it’s length, this is the link: http://clak.us/t3c7r
If you don’t mind a little farther away and want to watch via YouTube, then below is courtesy of TFAW.com:

Greetings from a rained soaked UK.
Our show this month is rather shorter than usual, but we have a lot to talk about!
Firstly, there is a new film that added Alan Tudyk to it’s cast yesterday (11July) the title of which completely escaped Wendy during the recording!
We talk about the forthcoming European tour by Browncoat favourite, Marian Call which has been fan funded via Kickstarter. There are still twelve days left to help fund the trip and you can find all details here (including a great video), we also added her fantastic Kickstarter song at the very end of the podcast for you to enjoy!
We also talk about Zachary Levi (“Chuck”) and his Nerd Machine friends on their new web three-parter called “Trailer Park Heroes”. You can watch them here via break.com.
Lastly, if it’s July, then it must be San Diego Comic Con and as we all know, the Science Channel is hosting a 10th Anniversary Firefly Reunion Panel on Friday 13 July. We now know that Jewel Staite, Morena Baccarin, Gina Torres cannot join the panel and still not sure if Ron Glass will be there or not. Either way it is going to be an amazing hour and both Odile and I wish that we could have been there.
As always, we hope you will enjoy the show and if you do, you can leave comments here or on our Facebook page or Twitter

March 2002, and the cameras are rolling on a new Fox TV pilot, which is due to air later that year. Everyone has such high hopes, it’s coming from an impeccable creative source with an enthusiastic fanbase and the production already has an initial order of thirteen episodes …
Yes, of course, we are referring to “Firefly”, and the main bulk of this show is us discussing the decade since the start of “Firefly”. Our main resource for the news items we mention during the conversation can all be found on firefly10th.com.

Due to my ongoing love/hate relationship with technology, I failed at capturing Matt and Deb’s full ceremony. However, thanks to the magic that is YouTube:
